Black in a square is architecture. The Aya square pouf in black is not decorative — it is structural. It defines the space around it, anchors a seating arrangement, and works equally well as a seat, a footrest, or a side table.
This pouf was made by hand in Marrakech by artisans who have spent years learning to cut and stitch leather the traditional way. The goat leather is vegetable-tanned — a slow process that uses plant-based tannins rather than chemicals, producing leather that develops a rich patina over time. The deep black tone grows richer with use.
No two pieces are identical. The variations in colour, stitching, and surface are not imperfections — they are the evidence of the hand.
