Moroccan craft spans several distinct material traditions — leather, wool, velvet, and flat-woven kilim — each with its own visual logic and place within an interior. The pieces in this Autumn/Winter 2026 edit represent all four, selected for their compatibility with contemporary interiors and their fidelity to the techniques that give them meaning.

Moroccan Leather Poufs & Ottomans

The Moroccan leather pouf — known locally as the Stormia — is hand-stitched from full-grain goatskin by artisans in Fès and Marrakesh. Each one is individually embroidered or embossed with geometric motifs drawn from Amazigh and Andalusian decorative traditions. Low enough to serve as a footrest, structured enough to function as occasional seating, and visually strong enough to anchor a room on its own.

Moroccan Kilim Blankets & Wool Throws

Kilim is one of the oldest textile techniques in North Africa: flat-woven, with no pile and no knots — geometry created entirely by warp and weft. The pom pom throw follows a separate tradition from the Middle Atlas highlands, where wool was hand-looped and finished with decorative borders. Both are woven for everyday use and improve with age.
