The Weave
Ivory lines cross a beige woven ground, leaving broad passages of texture between them. Their presence is understated at a distance. Closer to the surface, the raised wool catches the light and reveals small changes in thickness along each diagonal.
A woven rug front is paired with a beige wool blanket back, bringing two textile surfaces into one object. Our reading begins with what is visible: the open ground, the relief of the yarn and the slight irregularities that keep the geometry from feeling mechanical.
Collector’s Note
We chose this piece for its restraint. The pattern does not cover every part of the cushion; it gives the woven ground room to remain part of the composition. That balance makes the surface worth looking at without asking it to dominate a room.
Against plain linen, the relief supplies definition. Beside natural wood, the beige palette offers continuity. Four corner tassels soften the outline, while the diagonals give this quiet object its own rhythm.
Less pattern. More room to see.
