LSSAN — The Bag That Speaks
A bag should speak
for itself.
LSSAN comes from the Arabic word LISSAN (لسان) — meaning Tongue. The instrument of expression. The carrier of language. The voice of identity.
We chose this name because we believe a bag should do the same. Not through logos or labels, but through the patterns pressed into its surface — geometric forms drawn from Islamic architecture, folk symbols rooted in Moroccan tradition, botanical motifs inherited from Andalusian craft.
Every LSSAN bag is a sentence in a language that has been spoken in Morocco for over a thousand years.

Every LSSAN bag is made in the ancient medina of Tetouan — a UNESCO World Heritage city where the craft of leather tooling has been practised for centuries.
The leather is responsibly sourced, hand-cleaned, hand-dyed, and hand-tooled using traditional metal stamps. Each impression is made by hand, one at a time.
No two bags are identical.
