Moroccan Corridor

Handwoven Moroccan Mixed-Technique Rug — Multicolour Abstract | 100 × 150 cm

Crafted in Marrakech

$320.00

Woven in a mixed technique, this rug brings together a flatweave base with a raised hand-knotted grid. The flatwoven ground creates a structured foundation, while the hand-knotted lines add depth, texture, and quiet dimension across the surface — a dialogue between two traditions in a single object. The composition is multicolour and abstract: cobalt blue, yellow, forest green, red, black, grey, purple, turquoise, brown, and white motifs are freely distributed across a natural beige ground, framed by a vivid green border. Joyful and spontaneous, yet grounded in craft.

Moroccan Corridor® invites you to an unforgettable shopping experience: Hand knotted moroccan rugs from the rug experts par excellence.

More Than a Store

Moroccan Corridor was not created to sell Moroccan products. It was created to preserve, celebrate, and share the remarkable craftsmanship traditions that have shaped Morocco for centuries.

Every object we present begins long before it reaches a home. It begins with a material, a place, a workshop, and the hands of an artisan whose knowledge has often been passed down through generations.

Our role is simple: To identify exceptional craftsmanship and bring it to those who value authenticity, beauty, and cultural heritage.

We do not manufacture. We do not mass-produce.

We select.

The Weaver’s Palette

Boucherouite does not follow a pattern. It follows an impulse. Each motif — a blob of cobalt blue, a yellow burst, a green X — is placed where the weaver decides it should go, in the colour she chooses, in the shape that comes to her. The result is never the same twice.

This rug was made by hand in Morocco, in the tradition of Boucherouite weaving — a folk art form born from resourcefulness and kept alive by the creative freedom it demands. It is not a decorative object. It is a small, hand-made painting that happens to live on the floor.
