The Desert Fibre
Sabra silk — also called cactus silk or vegetable silk — is extracted from the leaves of the wild Agave cactus growing in the arid regions of Morocco. It is entirely plant-based, hand-spun, and handwoven by Berber artisans using techniques passed down through generations.
Every sabra cactus silk cushion, throw, and rug in this collection is naturally dyed using plant pigments — madder root for deep reds, indigo for blues, saffron and henna for warm golds and ochres. The threads are sun-dried before weaving, a process unchanged for centuries. No synthetic dyes. No shortcuts.
Sabra silk has a distinctive moiré quality — it catches and returns light differently depending on the angle, revealing new colours beneath the surface. It does not wrinkle. It has a natural elasticity. And because the spent fibres return to the earth as fertiliser, it is one of the most sustainable textiles available — zero-waste by nature.
Unlike traditional silk, Sabra harms no living creature. The Agave grows on arid land without irrigation or pesticides. It is a material that is as responsible as it is beautiful. No two moroccan sabra silk cushions are identical — each one carries the mark of the hands that made it.

More Than a Store
Moroccan Corridor was not created to sell Moroccan products.
It was created to preserve, celebrate, and share the remarkable craftsmanship traditions that have shaped Morocco for centuries.
Every object we present begins long before it reaches a home. It begins with a material, a place, a workshop, and the hands of an artisan whose knowledge has often been passed down through generations.
Our role is simple:
To identify exceptional craftsmanship and bring it to those who value authenticity, beauty, and cultural heritage.
We do not manufacture. We do not mass-produce.
We select.
