It is a record of a specific moment — the moment the weaver decided to scatter joy across the field she had been building, knot by knot, for weeks.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003chr\u003e\u003ch2\u003eThe Rug\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eHandwoven in the High Atlas, Azilal province, by an Amazigh weaver working freely on a traditional vertical loom. The ground is undyed ivory wool — natural fleece of the local sheep. The symbols are worked in natural and hand-dyed wool: fuchsia, cobalt, orange, emerald, black. The central composition — large lozenges in black outline, one filled with fuchsia — is flanked by scattered multicolour knots across the entire field. No two areas of the rug are identical.
