This Moroccan Azilal rug is built around one of the most powerful compositions in the Berber weaving tradition — a central column of nested diamonds rising from the base to the top of the field, flanked by a border of smaller diamonds along both sides. Woven in vivid fuchsia pink, orange, yellow, teal and black on a luminous ivory ground, the composition is bold, balanced, and deeply rooted in the visual language of the High Atlas.

The pile is thick and luxurious — hand-knotted over several weeks by an artisan in the Azilal region. The result is a rug that is as tactile as it is visual: dense underfoot, warm in winter, and built to last for decades.
